Comfort Eider-Down-Cover

All products are washable at 40° Celsius (72°F). Products of the Children-Programme are washable at 60° Celsius (108°F). All products can also be delivered washable at 60° Celsius (108°F). The products require a special bed ticking. Downs and feathers are without any restriction washable at 95° Celsius (171°F), while the most woven fabrics aren’t.

Eider Down-Cover: „Elegance“

The eider down is the most noble bed filling. It comes from the Eider-Duck, that lives in the cold climate of northern regions. Microscopic little hooks at the branching of the downs are connected to a wickerwork, that includes more isolating air like in any other filling-material.

That explains the enormous heat retention capacity at a very small weight. You pick eider downs in a very arduous and traditional way. You collect the eider downs by hand from the breeding grounds, after the eider ducks left with their chicks towards the sea, so you do not disturb them. A special kind of refinement makes the eider down to the most valuable filling material.
